Company — Energy upgrading for existing gas infrastructure
More energy from the gas infrastructure, that already exists.
Gaxxon upgrades carbon-based gas streams into a high-energy synthetic fuel gas - inside the plants, pipes and burner systems industry already operates.

Energy upgrading and decarbonisation are a capital problem, not a knowledge problem.
Energy-intensive industry knows what it has to do. What stands in the way is the price of getting there.
Full electrification or a new hydrogen infrastructure means replacing assets that still have decades of service life ahead of them. For most operators that investment is neither financeable nor fast enough. At the same time, process, associated and residual gases remain an unused energy resource.
We do not replace your equipment. We upgrade the gas it already burns.
Upgrade instead of replace
An electrochemical process converts existing carrier, process and residual gases into a synthetic fuel gas with a substantially higher energy content. Energy already present in the gas is put to work.
Modular by design
Standardised cells combine into modules, and modules stacked to the load a site actually needs. The same technology serves a single burner and a large industrial installation.
Retrofit instead of rebuild
The system operates as an upstream component ahead of turbines, CHP units and industrial burners. No new pipelines, no new generating plant, no new fuel logistics.
Digitally supervised
A proprietary control platform monitors, diagnoses and operates the installations remotely. Operators see the state of every module from anywhere. Explore Gaxxon Cloud →
Wherever carbon-based gases are burned or produced.
Industrial burner systems
Gas- and coal-fired power generation
Data centres
Waste incineration and water treatment
Decentralised power and heat, standby generation
Steel, glass and building materials
Long term, mobile applications such as rail vehicles, vessels and generator sets come into scope.
Where we stand.
The technology rests on more than two decades of research and development.
Demonstration units have been built and tested, national and international patent applications are filed, and small industrial applications are in test and validation operation. The next step is independent validation of the standard module for large-scale industrial use.
